Investigation into Northvolt deaths to be completed no earlier than fall

The investigation into the three deaths at Northvolt in Skellefteå will not be completed until at least the fall, reports Ekot.

The police launched the investigation after the third death occurred in June.

Over the past six months, three men have been found dead in their homes. In January, a 33-year-old father of three was found dead in his bed. A month later, a 19-year-old man was also found dead in his bed.

In early June, a man in his 60s was found dead on his balcony. All three men had returned home after working at the battery factory.

The forensic investigation has not been able to determine the cause of death in any of the cases.
