Sweden’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.1 percent in May compared to April, according to a preliminary GDP indicator from Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Analysts had on average predicted a growth of 0.4 percent in April compared to the previous month, based on a compilation of forecasts by Bloomberg.
In March, Swedish GDP shrank by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month.
Compared to a year earlier, the Swedish economy decreased by 0.2 percent in May, according to SCB.
