A person has been taken to the hospital by ambulance after a head-on collision between a car and a truck.
“It is a serious traffic accident,” said Angelica Forsberg, spokesperson for the police.
The driver of the car has been transported to the hospital, and their condition is currently unknown. However, the truck driver is reported to be physically unharmed.
The accident occurred on road 53, and the alert was received just before 3 PM on Thursday.
“We still have police at the scene. There has been some traffic impact, and we will likely speak with the truck driver to understand what happened,” Forsberg added.
According to the Swedish Transport Administration, a tow truck has been ordered to the site.
