In Mjölby, emergency services were alerted to a man stuck in mud near a field for nearly a day.
The man became trapped in the mud on Tuesday around 1 PM. However, it wasn’t until Wednesday morning that he was found by a birdwatcher who alerted emergency services for assistance.
It is still unclear how the man ended up in the mud or why he was unable to call for help himself.
According to the emergency services, the man is reportedly in good spirits.
