A man in his mid-30s has been assaulted in Bromma, Stockholm, and has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“It involves some type of object,” said police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
“We have a theory about what the motive could be, but we cannot elaborate on it at this time.”
The incident reportedly occurred outdoors in a residential area, and several witnesses are said to have observed the event.
The police are now conducting a forensic investigation of the scene and door-to-door inquiries in the area.
