A woman in her 70s has been found dead at Gräsö in Östhammar municipality following a drowning accident.
The police were alerted to the island, located outside Öregrund, around 11 p.m. on Saturday evening.
“The police arrived at the scene and confirmed it was a drowning accident,” said police spokesperson Roland Komaromi.
There is no suspicion of a crime. The woman’s relatives have been notified.
