Climate activist Greta Thunberg was arrested on Saturday during a demonstration in the Netherlands organized by the network Extinction Rebellion, reports Expressen.
The demonstration involved blocking the A12 highway in The Hague, and according to reports, police used water cannons to disperse the protesters. The group has previously demonstrated multiple times at the same highway in The Hague. In April, Greta Thunberg was detained during one of these demonstrations.
Most recently, in June, the Swedish climate activist was arrested at a demonstration in Helsinki, also organized by Extinction Rebellion.
