A traffic accident involving multiple vehicles occurred in Kävlinge on Wednesday evening. The collision involved three cars and a truck.
According to Region Skåne, seventeen people are injured. Seven of them have been taken to the hospital.
“Of these, three have been transported to the hospital with serious or potentially life-threatening injuries,” says Jessica Schale of the Skåne Police Region.
The seriously injured include two adults and one child.
Four people have moderate injuries, while the remaining ten are assessed on-site with minor injuries.
The E6 road near Löddeköpinge has been closed, and the Swedish Transport Administration estimates it may not reopen until midnight.

None of the individuals involved in the mass collision on the E6 in Kävlinge, Skåne, on Wednesday evening are now considered to have life-threatening injuries, the police report on their website.
According to Region Skåne, 17 people were injured in the accident, and seven were taken to the hospital. Initially, the police reported to TT that three of these individuals were feared to have sustained life-threatening injuries.
