Stockholm Central Station evacuated after bomb threat

Stockholm Central Station have been evacuated following a suspected bomb threat.

A reporter from SvD on the scene reports that bomb technicians are present and certain areas of the station have been evacuated. These areas are cordoned off with tape, and security guards are preventing travelers from entering.

The main entrance on Vasagatan remains open, and people are moving as usual in the subway beneath the central station.

“We are in the process of checking an object,” said Nadya Norton from the police.

“Right now, we are still investigating. However, we have not evacuated the entire station; where it is not cordoned off, people are allowed to remain.”
