A teenager has died after being shot in Bagarmossen, southern Stockholm, late Tuesday evening, according to police reports.
Relatives have been notified, the police announced early Wednesday morning. The victim, aged between 15 and 18, succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
The alarm was received by the police at 11:23 PM on Tuesday, and a police patrol arrived at the scene four minutes later.
“A severely injured person was found, and bystanders had started to administer first aid,” said police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl to TT.
On Sunday evening, a suspected shooting occurred in the same area; gunshots were heard, and people were seen fleeing the scene. Police are investigating potential links to Tuesday evening’s shooting.
