A house is engulfed in flames in Viksjöfors, Ovanåker municipality, reports P4 Gävleborg. Two people have been transported to the hospital by ambulance, and parts of the building have collapsed.
The fire is reported to be fully developed, and the house will not be salvageable. Emergency services are working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
Due to the relatively dense population in the area, the fire department has decided to evacuate neighbors, according to SVT Gävleborg.
The condition of those taken to the hospital remains unclear.
